The call wants innovation actions that develop electrically driven industrial process technologies — such as membrane technology, power ultrasound, mechanical activation or electrochemical processes — replacing traditional heat-based separation and drying steps in process industries. Conventional electric heating and heat pumps are explicitly out of scope.
