Optimal combination of low embodied carbon construction products and circularity for climate neutral buildings (Built4People Partnership)
Funds research combining construction products and building systems to minimise whole-life carbon, validated in at least three countries.
This Built4People Partnership call from the European Commission funds research combining construction products and building systems to minimise whole-life carbon, validated in at least three countries. Proposals need to show optimal combinations of construction products and building systems that also hold up on thermal and hygrometric performance, durability, potential for deconstruction and reuse…
The Commission wants solutions that combine construction products and technical building systems for minimal life-cycle environmental impact at building level, plus strategies for adaptive reuse of existing structures instead of demolition. It wants proposals to research whole-life carbon emissions of the developed solutions and contribute to European standards and the Built4People partnership.
