The European Commission wants research that improves the evidence behind EU and national climate adaptation policy, addressing gaps flagged in the first EU Climate Risk Assessment (EUCRA) around tipping points, cascading risks and cross-border effects. Proposals must cover at least two interacting systems or sectors — such as ecosystems, agri-food, health, infrastructure, energy or finance — and include sub-European case studies across at least two countries in a region.
