Funds AI-driven and automated farming solutions for greenhouses, vertical farms and other controlled environment agriculture, with money for SMEs to test them.
This call funds work in both conventional and organic controlled-environment farming, and expects it to reach Technology Readiness Level 6-7 by the end of the project, starting from any TRL. This call wants cost-effective, sustainable solutions for controlled environment agriculture — greenhouses, vertical farms, hydroponics and similar — that improve crop health, yield, energy and water efficiency, and pest management. It wants data-driven decision tools, smart automation and AI-based predictive analytics for plant growth, plus new business and cooperation models for bringing these solutions to market.
