Innovative in-space servicing, operations, space-based robotics and technologies for resilient EU space infrastructure
Funds start-ups and SMEs building in-space servicing, on-orbit operations and space robotics that strengthen the resilience of EU space infrastructure, as one of six topics under the EIC Accelerator 2025 call.
Applications run on a multiple cut-off model with two deadlines in the cycle, 12 March 2025 and 1 October 2025, through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal. Each award sits between EUR 500,000 and EUR 17,500,000 in EU contribution, drawn from a EUR 634 million pot shared across all EIC Accelerator 2025 topics. This EIC Accelerator challenge is for start-ups and SMEs developing technology for servicing satellites and other assets in orbit, on-orbit operations, and space-based robotics that make EU space infrastructure more resilient. It sits alongside five other named challenge topics and one open, bottom-up strand inside the same EIC Accelerator 2025 call. The call expects to fund 15 projects under this specific challenge.
