This call funds innovation actions that mature and demonstrate fusion power plant technology to Technology Readiness Level 6-8, in areas such as tritium breeding, fuel cycle, high-power lasers for inertial confinement fusion, fusion-grade materials, qualification of reactor components, or the engineering design of future fusion facilities. Proposals must pick a single technology area, show a credible path to commercialisation, and involve close cooperation between public research and private companies including start-ups and SMEs.
