This call develops new or optimised, trustworthy Generative AI virtual assistant models — augmented by other AI tools — to support healthcare professionals, trained on diverse multimodal health data (electronic health records, imaging, genomics, lab results, and more). Proposals must demonstrate the models' added value and clinical utility in at least two healthcare use cases across different medical fields, and address bias mitigation, explainability, and ethical/legal/societal implications.
