Funds transnational or virtual access to top research infrastructures in a scientific domain not already covered by earlier frontier-access calls.
This topic is not a research grant in the usual sense -- its main purpose is giving other researchers access to infrastructure that already exists, and it explicitly will not fund longer-term R&D into new instruments, tools, methods or digital solutions. Costs are paid as unit costs tied to the transnational or virtual access actually provided, a different cost model from the lump-sum or reimburse…
This topic funds transnational and/or virtual access to integrated research infrastructure services for curiosity-driven research, in any scientific domain not already targeted by the Horizon Europe Research Infrastructures programme's 2023-2025 curiosity-driven access topics. Proposals must state which domain (and sub-domain) they address and offer access via a wide, complementary set of top-level infrastructures.
