Consolidation of the research infrastructure landscape – individual support for evolution, long-term sustainability and emerging needs of pan-European research infrastructures
Funds individual support to a single ESFRI Landmark or European Research Infrastructure Consortium to strengthen, evolve or sustain a pan-European research infrastructure.
Funded work is expected to help structure and strengthen the European research infrastructure landscape, open new services to a wider user community including participants elsewhere in Horizon Europe, and build the infrastructure's long-term sustainability, while cutting the environmental and energy footprint of its full life cycle. This topic funds individual support to one ESFRI Landmark or European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), covering activities such as widening its membership, reorienting or evolving its scientific scope, extending remote or virtual access, or strengthening its business and funding plan. The beneficiary must be the legal entity hosting the infrastructure, or the ERIC itself, and must be explicitly identified in the proposal.
