Co-funds host-organisation talent-recruitment programmes that give researchers with a doctoral degree a stable, attractive career track in Europe.

This topic co-funds new talent-recruitment programmes at universities, research institutions and other organisations that offer researchers holding a doctoral degree excellent research and academic opportunities leading to concrete career prospects. Programmes can cover any research discipline and run in two phases: an EU-funded first phase of 24-36 months, followed by a second phase of 24 months where the host organisation itself pays a nationally competitive salary. The scheme is aimed at tackling brain drain and researcher career precarity to make Europe more attractive to top talent.
