The European Commission wants at least one new tool or technology that helps construction-ecosystem actors apply regenerative design — an approach that actively restores and revitalises ecosystems, not just reduces harm. Proposals must analyse at least 10 existing regenerative-design examples across diverse geographic and climate contexts, and demonstrate their own solution in at least three neighbourhoods across at least three Member States or Associated Countries, reaching TRL 6-8 by the project's end.
