Hop-on facility
Pays a Widening-country organisation to join an already-funded Horizon Europe or EIC Pathfinder project as a new partner.
The scheme is meant to work at three levels: nationally it raises the visibility of Widening-country researchers and companies and improves knowledge flow into fields where those countries are under-represented; for the receiving consortium it opens established networks to new partners and talent; and for the new beneficiary itself it builds the skills needed to work inside a transnational project…
This call funds one new beneficiary from a Horizon Europe Widening country to join an ongoing, already-funded Horizon Pillar II or EIC Pathfinder collaborative project, taking on a real task or work package. It wants applications to show the clear research and innovation value the new partner adds, with a detailed description of their role and how they complement the existing consortium's work. The scheme exists to widen participation in Horizon Europe and connect researchers and companies in under-represented countries to established European project networks.
