Businesses apply via the Advance Queensland website during periodic open rounds, submitting a commercialisation and growth plan. Two funding tiers are available depending on project length, with rounds described as moving quickly and being highly competitive.
The fund targets Queensland companies moving from a working MVP towards commercial roll-out, across sectors such as tech, health, agtech and consumer goods. It looks for a clear commercialisation and growth plan rather than early-stage research.
