Innovative Manufacturing Adoption Fund Stage 1
Funds NSW manufacturers with $10,000 to $50,000 to investigate adopting advanced manufacturing technology through feasibility studies, pilot projects and technology assessments run by an external consultant.
Eligible applicants must be an incorporated Australian company headquartered and running a manufacturing facility in NSW, with an active ABN, a bank account with an Australian deposit-taking institution, between ten and a hundred full-time-equivalent staff, and at least $1 million turnover in each of the past two financial years, plus a minimum 50% cash co-contribution to the project. The Fund supports NSW manufacturers investigating the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, processes and systems across target sectors such as construction, clean energy, transport and rolling stock, defence and aerospace, health and medtech, advanced electronics, mining equipment, agriculture, and food and beverage manufacturing. Stage 1 pays for feasibility studies, pilot projects and technology assessments carried out by an external consultant rather than internal work. Net Zero and energy-generation manufacturing, such as solar panels or wind turbines, is excluded and directed to other NSW programs.
