Selection runs through four stages: an online form with a slide-deck upload, a self-recorded 8-minute pitch reviewed by an expert committee, an in-person final pitch, and due diligence before approval. The programme scouts Indian startups and companies building biotechnology-driven climate solutions across three themes: reducing greenhouse-gas emissions and carbon burden, climate-resilient healthcare, and climate-resilient agriculture and food security. It names bioenergy, green-tech, waste and circularity, air/water quality, and climate-resistant crop technologies as example areas.
