MeitY TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR)
Pays Indian entrepreneurs up to ₹4 lakh to validate an idea into a proof of concept.
Run by IIITB Innovation Centre in collaboration with MeitY's TIDE 2.0 scheme, this Entrepreneur-in-Residence tier funds validation and development of an idea into a proof of concept over a 12-month duration. It sits alongside a separate, larger TIDE 2.0 Startup Grant tier for applicants who already have a working PoC.
This tier is for entrepreneurs based in India who already have a clearly defined business idea that fits one of IIITB-Innovation Centre's focus areas: healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure and transportation, financial inclusion including digital payments, and e-governance. Ideas typically use emerging digital technologies such as SaaS/PaaS, IoT, AI, blockchain or robotics.
