IIM Calcutta Innovation Park runs this Entrepreneur-in-Residence tier as an East and North-East India hub -- a "TIDE 2.0 G1 Centre" -- for MeitY's national effort to build 2,000 technology startups leveraging ICT across priority sectors. A parallel, better-funded tier called simply "Grant" pays Rs 7 lakh over the same 12 months to applicants who already have a working Proof of Concept rather than

Open to Indian citizens or teams with an ICT-enabled idea or prototype addressing a national priority area: healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, infrastructure and transportation, environment and clean tech, or clean energy. At least one team member must commit to the idea full time.
