PM Vishwakarma backs self-employed artisans and craftspeople working in one of 18 family-based traditional trades — carpenters, blacksmiths, potters, tailors, cobblers and similar hands-on trades — who are at least 18 and haven't already used a similar central or state self-employment credit scheme in the past five years. Registration is capped at one person per family, and government employees and their families are excluded.
