Grant-in-Aid Scheme

Funds Indian education bodies to run policy studies, evaluations and seminars.

Eligible institutions submit a proposal outlining objectives, methodology, budget and staffing to the Grant-in-Aid Committee, which reviews applications on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline. Approved study grants are paid in three instalments tied to progress reports, while seminar grants are paid in two instalments against a signed bond and a final utilisation certificate.
