Matches up to 25% of a Goa startup's private funding round, capped at ₹25 lakh.
Once a certified startup raises money from a registered or recognised funding source before its product launches, the Start-up Promotion Cell calculates a match worth 25% of that round, capped at INR 25,00,000, with the actual benefit scaled to the ownership stake the investors themselves took in the round rather than a flat percentage of cash raised. The scheme backs startups already certified by Goa's Start-up Promotion Cell that have closed an investment from a recognised funding source before launching their product. It exists to stretch an early private round further for Goa-registered founders, under the state's 2017 Start-up Policy.
