SRIJAN (Student Entrepreneurship Programme)
Pays agri-business students up to ₹4 lakh a year to develop their idea into a business.
Support is capped at four students per KP/R-ABI location in a given financial year, with each student's award capped at Rs. 4 lakh. It sits alongside R-ABI's other two tracks — one for validating an idea into a prototype, one for scaling a startup with an existing MVP — as the entry point for students who have not yet formed a company.
This track backs students working on agri-business ideas, innovation or entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied sectors, helping them turn an idea into a real business, product or technology. Unlike R-ABI's startup-stage tracks, students do not need to already be registered as a DPIIT startup to take part.
