Genesis EIR (Entrepreneur-in-Residence) Program

Pays early-stage Indian founders up to Rs 10 lakh under the GENESIS EiR scheme.

IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre runs Genesis EIR under the government's GENESIS scheme. After an eligibility check and screening, shortlisted founders present to an expert committee, whose funding decision is final; approved applicants then register for pre-incubation or incubation at IIMUIC, receiving funding, mentoring, an MVP/pilot track, investor connections, and co-working space.

The program is for early-stage Indian startups no older than a year, building in IoT, AI, blockchain, deep tech, electronics and IT, big data, robotics, health tech, ed tech, agri-AI, or AR/VR. Ideas must be original, and applicants must not already have received more than ₹10 lakh in outside funding, including government funding.
