TDIP: Program for Pilot, Testing and PoC of Telecom Products and Solutions

Funds Indian telecom startups and MSMEs up to 80% (max Rs.50 lakh) to pilot and validate solutions.

The program exists because confidence from telecom providers and industry adopters is hard to win through lab or simulated testing alone, which is why the funding goes toward live-network validation before a startup or MSME tries to commercialise a telecom product. TCoE India runs the support as DoT's implementing agency, and DoT extends financial assistance to projects that carry a technology fro

The TDIP program backs Startups and MSMEs building telecom and ICT solutions across 5G/6G, satellite communications, navigation, quantum communication, semiconductors, robotics, cybersecurity, IoT, wearables, AR/VR, AI, and green technologies like renewable energy and EVs, plus tech-enabled services such as FinTech, EdTech and HealthTech, as long as the use case integrates with telecom networks. It funds only the pilot and validation stage -- not commercial-scale deployment.
