Industry Growth Program (IGP)
Funds Australian businesses to commercialise and scale up in priority sectors such as renewables, medical science, food and advanced manufacturing.
Grants range from smaller early-stage commercialisation amounts up to multi-million-dollar sums for larger growth and commercialisation projects, applied for via industry.gov.au. New applications are currently paused, though the programme is expected to reopen.
The programme targets commercialising and scaling startups in a handful of government-picked priority areas -- clean energy, health and medical science, the food and beverage industry, national defence, and advanced manufacturing. It is not for idea-stage businesses -- applicants need a strong commercialisation plan already in place.
