InovIA – Vouchers for Innovation
Gives Portuguese startups and SMEs a free voucher of supercomputer time to test high-performance computing and AI projects.
Applicants register online, and FCT's advanced computing team runs an administrative and technical review within five business days. Approved projects receive a voucher and an account on the Deucalion or MareNostrum 5 supercomputer, and can request more resources later subject to a further review. Applications are handled continuously and reviewed first-come, first-served rather than in fixed roun…
Looks for pre-commercial startups and SMEs whose projects would benefit from advanced computing or artificial intelligence, such as testing high-performance solutions on a national supercomputer. Routine computing needs without an innovation angle do not fit the program.
