The prize looks for projects and initiatives that cut atmospheric CO2 and other greenhouse gases across five categories: carbon capture and sequestration, decarbonizing energy, climate finance mechanisms, social and cultural shifts away from fossil fuels, and low-emissions transport and mobility. It wants solutions that can show real scalability and impact, not just early ideas.
