Energy renovation solutions – Boosting building renovation through effective markets and instruments
Covers up to 95% of costs for projects that scale up high-quality building renovations or strengthen EU energy-performance certification tools.

The LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme wants projects that either scale up high-quality, competitive building renovations across markets (Scope A), or that strengthen how EPBD information tools like Energy Performance Certificates, Renovation Passports and Digital Building Logbooks are used and trusted in practice (Scope B). Scope A proposals should build replicable business models that cut renovation costs and time and boost construction firms' capacity to deliver quality work at scale. Scope B proposals should improve the accuracy, integration and market roll-out of existing building-assessment schemes rather than build new technology from scratch.
