Pays a single applicant to run a national platform and skills roadmap that grows the workforce of energy-efficiency professionals in one eligible country.
Roughly 30% of project resources must go into a large-scale national communication campaign that promotes energy-efficiency careers and reaches underrepresented groups through online and onsite activity, including roadshows. The LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme wants a national platform, in one of a specific set of eligible countries, that brings together public authorities, training providers, unions and industry to close the skills gap in construction and renovation trades needed for the clean energy transition. Proposals must (re)establish this platform, run skills-intelligence research to map workforce gaps, design a national roadmap of upskilling measures, and get it formally endorsed by national stakeholders. Only countries that have not yet updated their national skills platform and roadmap are in scope for this round.
