Meta for Startups
Offers early-stage startups advertising credits, developer tools, mentorship, and community support through Meta platforms.
Meta for Startups is Meta Platforms Inc.'s in-kind support program for early-stage technology companies. The program provides Facebook and Instagram advertising credits, access to Meta developer platforms, technical support, and mentorship from Meta employees. It does not provide cash grants; all value is delivered as non-cash benefits. Advertising credit vouchers typically range from $1,000 to $10,000 in platform ad spend, enabling startups to test and grow their user base on Meta's advertising network.
Eligibility is limited to for-profit early-stage companies; nonprofits, universities, and individuals are not eligible. There is no published geographic restriction, though the program is most consistently described in the United States context. Meta for Startups is distinct from the Llama Impact Grants and the Llama Startup Program, which are separate Meta programs that provide cash awards for projects using the Llama open-source AI model and should not be confused with this in-kind program.
The program is accessed through the Meta for Startups portal at facebook.com/business. There is no public application deadline or cohort cycle; companies apply on a rolling basis and receive benefit packages subject to review. Because all support is in-kind advertising and platform access rather than cash, applicants should evaluate it alongside other corporate credit programs rather than traditional grant funding.
Offers early-stage startups in-kind support consisting of Facebook and Instagram ad credits, access to Meta developer platforms, and mentorship — not cash grants — to help founders grow their user base and test products.
