The New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology administers the Pilot Clean Tech Demonstration Grant Program as a state demonstration grant for New Jersey clean technology companies. The Round 2 source says the program is issued by CSIT in collaboration with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and funded by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.

Applicants must be authorized and in good standing to conduct business in New Jersey, hold a current New Jersey tax clearance certificate, have no more than 50 full-time equivalent employees, have at least two full-time employees, conduct at least 50 percent of employee, founder, and contractor work in New Jersey, and have less than USD 5 million in prior-year sales revenue. The pilot demonstration project itself must be conducted in New Jersey and fall within TRL 6 through TRL 8.
