This first TRANSCAN-4 call funds translational research on cancer metabolism, aimed at better diagnosis, patient stratification and treatment through a deeper understanding of metabolic changes in cancer. Proposals must address at least one aim: developing metabolic biomarkers and imaging for diagnosis and monitoring, or targeting metabolic vulnerabilities for precision therapies, and must show clear clinical relevance backed by human data.
