RFCS Steel Accompanying Measures
Funds workshops, conferences and knowledge-sharing that support steel-sector research and the just transition of steel communities.
Applicants submit a Standard Application Form (RFCS) through the Portal by the single-stage deadline. This topic carries an indicative EUR 1 million share of the wider RFCS-2026 call, which spans coal and steel research, pilot/demonstration and accompanying-measure topics together.
The Research Fund for Coal & Steel funds accompanying measures that promote the use of knowledge gained from RFCS steel projects, or organise dedicated workshops and conferences connected to RFCS steel priorities. It wants a consortium balanced across academia, research centres, industry and industry associations, including actors working on the just transition of the steel industry, and welcomes suggestions for policy initiatives supporting its digital, green and circular transformation.
