LevelUP Health & Life Sciences Accelerator
Runs a free six-week accelerator for early-stage Romanian and Central/Eastern European health and life sciences startups, with mentorship, a Silicon Valley scholarship prize, and fast-tracked access to up to €150,000 in follow-on funding from Fortech Ventures.
Each team can send at most two people, whether founders or core team members, through the program. Applicants without an incorporated company can still apply if their idea is being developed inside an existing company, or if they commit to founding a company before the program ends. The programme looks for early-stage startups, one to five years old, building an MVP or solution in health or life sciences broadly defined -- including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, agri-food, senior care, cosmetics, food supplements and biofuels. Teams must be based in Romania or Central and Eastern Europe, have or be about to register a company, and be comfortable pitching in English.
