Saudi Game Champions 2 was a gaming-sector startup accelerator delivered by CODE, the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship under Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The program ran from October 2025 through April 2026 and was designed to identify and develop gaming entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, supporting the Kingdom's Vision 2030 digital economy objectives. Participants entered through a competitive Game Jam held October 30 – November 1, 2025, following a registration window that closed October 26, 2025.
Selected teams advanced into a structured six-month incubation running November 16, 2025 to April 30, 2026, held physically in Riyadh. Grants of SAR 200,000 per startup were available to participating companies, alongside 432 hours of mentoring and training delivered by 40 global game industry experts. The incubation cycle followed a five-stage development arc — Bootcamp, Game Concept, Game Design, Prototype, and Demo — culminating in Demo Day pitches to industry professionals. Five top-performing startups were selected for the Tokyo Game Show with travel expense coverage, and top teams were considered for investment or publishing deals. The program is now closed.
Eligibility required participants to be at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and able to commit full-time in Riyadh, with incubator teams requiring a minimum of three members attending sessions three times weekly. The program accepted individuals from design, programming, art, marketing, and entrepreneurship tracks at the Game Jam stage. Given that this program has concluded and the funder's rawConfidence is low, prospective applicants should treat all details as historical and monitor CODE's official channels for any future gaming accelerator announcements.
