CODE Saudi Game Champions

Offers CODE Saudi Game Champions, supporting MCIT's gaming incubator for individuals and teams building startup ventures in Saudi.

CODE Saudi Game Champions is MCIT's gaming incubator for individuals and teams building startup ventures in Saudi Arabia. It sits under the CODE platform and combines funding, mentoring, and showcase opportunities around a single game-development pipeline. Edition 2 ran from the October 2025 game jam into a six-month incubation ending on April 30, 2026. The program offers grants of SAR 200,000 per startup, 432 hours of mentoring from 40 global game industry experts, and travel support for five startups selected for Tokyo Game Show. Participants move through Bootcamp, Game Concept, Game Design, Prototype, and Demo stages, and incubator teams must include at least three people. Eligibility is unusually hands-on: applicants must be 18 or older, fluent in English, fully committed, and physically present for events in Riyadh with a laptop and game-development software. The route is strongest for teams that already have a serious game concept and can use grant capital plus mentor access to reach prototype and demo readiness. Top teams may also be considered for investment or publishing deals, but the grant and the showcase remain the core public support.
