Founders register and pick the Electricity Track, then must attend at least one Qualifying Event (one held online, one in person in Shreveport, Louisiana) where mentors and Investor Judges assess their engagement. Entrants build out an application in an online Entrepreneur Portal, refining it as they get feedback, before a shortlist of finalists pitches to a panel of Investor Judges at the Energy

Startup Prize: Energy looks for early-stage companies working on the production, storage, transmission or management of electricity, judged separately from its sister Hydrocarbons & Fuels track. It wants founders who can show a realistic valuation, a credible go-to-market plan, and a route to a profitable, investable business.
