In scope: short-term travel for initial contacts with international partners; preparing proposals for international programmes; visiting specific facilities not available in the UK; undertaking a piece of work; gaining access to techniques or materials of benefit to a BBSRC research project or team; and attendance at European consortia-building events. Out of scope: salary costs, consumables, equipment, research costs, conference attendance, and travel expenses for individuals outside a UK research organisation.
