In scope: services for those with protected characteristics or shared experiences, or services that promote rehabilitation and desistance through grant awards. The scheme aims to improve engagement in, and experience of, probation and other rehabilitative activities; support an individual’s rehabilitation and desistance journey; and improve knowledge of which activities work to support people and encourage rehabilitation and desistance. The first competed application process was described as seeking grant awards for people from ethnic minority groups.
