The Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission runs an annual U.S. Scholar competition offering a menu of country-specific award types, which applicants choose from the full Catalog of Awards. Grants run three, four or nine months depending on the award chosen, and cover a living/accommodation stipend plus travel, relocation, community integration, insurance and (where relevant) dependent-related allowanc

Proposals are welcome from candidates in all disciplines, so no particular field is favoured. Applicants pick a Romanian higher-education institution to host them, and affiliations with NGOs or other non-strictly-academic institutions are also allowed.
