NASA's Innovative Advanced Concepts programme runs in three phases, and this is the second one. Phase I is a nine-month feasibility look at a visionary space concept; Phase II gives the most promising of those up to two years to go deeper and explore how they might actually get used, inside NASA or beyond it.
