Eligibility · Global — open worldwide

Snowflake for Startups is Snowflake Inc.'s multi-tier support program for early-stage companies building products where data is a core component. The base offering — the Startup Package — provides eligible startups with free platform usage on their first Snowflake contract, technical and go-to-market partnership, access to Snowflake's global investor network, and enterprise-grade security and governance. No specific dollar amount for base Startup Package credits is published; access is granted to companies leveraging AI and machine learning or handling large and complex datasets. The program is global in scope and does not restrict by geography.

Above the base tier, the Startup Accelerator is a selective, virtual cohort program lasting up to six months (many startups graduate in under three months). It provides dedicated Partner Engineers for application development, co-marketing opportunities, access to Snowflake's sales team, and VC Demo Days with investors including Snowflake Ventures, Redpoint, and Altimeter. Snowflake has announced plans to invest up to $200 million in next-generation startups innovating on its AI Data Cloud through this accelerator program.

The Snowflake Startup Challenge adds a competitive layer with awards of up to $1 million in investments from Snowflake, paired with mentorship and NYSE Bell-ringing opportunities for winners. Access to the Startup Package is through a registration-of-interest form; the Accelerator requires a separate application evaluated on the startup's potential to drive value for Snowflake customers. The program targets data infrastructure, AI/ML, and analytics companies only — it is not open to general-purpose software startups.

Provides early-stage data and AI companies with free platform usage credits on their first Snowflake contract, along with technical partnership, go-to-market support, and access to investor and customer networks.
