Verizon Smart Campus Competition
Pays Northeastern student teams up to $3,000 each for 5G network innovation ideas.
Judges score projects on innovation, feasibility, impact and presentation, looking for creative, well-researched solutions that address a real campus need. After the roughly 15 teams that clear round one, only about seven advance from the poster showcase to the ten-minute final presentations, and just three reach the "Winner's Circle" -- where, beyond the cash, they present their idea directly to …
Open only to undergraduate students enrolled at Northeastern University, in teams of three to six (students without a team can register individually and be placed on one). Teams design a solution using Verizon's 5G and network technologies that fits one of three tracks: AI-driven network automation and efficiency, cost and sustainability transformation, or next-gen customer experience.
