Innovate for Impact Challenge

Awards $50,000 to the top early-stage AgTech startup pitching at the Borlaug Dialogue.

Startups submit an online application, and Foundation judges narrow the field to a Top 10 who face public voting, then a Top 3 who travel to Des Moines, Iowa to pitch live at the Borlaug Dialogue in October. The top three finishers split cash prizes, and every finalist gains exposure to the roughly 1,500 food and agriculture leaders attending the Dialogue.

The World Food Prize Foundation and America's Cultivation Corridor run this challenge for early-stage, for-profit AgTech startups tackling global food security and sustainability, from validated concepts through pre-Series A. Judges weigh innovation, market potential, sustainability contribution, and scalability.
