2025 NIA Start-Up Challenge and Accelerator

Awards up to $75,000 and a 5-month accelerator to entrepreneurs building aging-research startups.

Stage 1 selects up to 21 finalists who each receive a $10,000 cash prize plus a five-month accelerator program with SBIR coaching and free business, regulatory and reimbursement consults. Stage 2 then selects up to 7 winners from that finalist pool, who each receive up to a further $65,000. NIA staff and technical reviewers score submissions before a panel of federal judges makes the final call.
