2026 NIA Mentorship Prize Competition
Pays $100,000 to each of up to six faculty mentors recognized for outstanding aging-research mentorship.
About
Mentees nominate mentors during an open nomination window; mentors who receive at least two nominations and meet the eligibility criteria are formally invited by NIA to submit a Phase 2 application. Winning mentors each receive $100,000, paid directly to their institution rather than to the mentor personally, from a total pool of up to $600,000, with winners announced the following spring.
