The AI Innovation Program is MoIAT's industry-challenge matching route for AI and technology developers working with UAE manufacturers and other industrial partners. It links solution providers to named challenge holders such as AD Ports, Strata, and RAK Ceramics, so the program reads more like an implementation channel than a standard grant competition. The support side is financed through a USD 100 million facility at Emirates Development Bank, and the public page does not disclose a separate cash grant ceiling for developers. The program runs on a rolling basis, is tied to UAE operations, and leaves detailed screening criteria open rather than publishing a tight application gate. The strongest applicants will be teams that can respond directly to a live industrial problem and carry an AI solution into deployment. Because the program is challenge-led, fit matters more than pitch polish: the key is a credible solution for a specific industrial use case and the ability to implement it with a UAE partner.
