Innovative Solutions for Software Challenges (Soluciones Innovadoras para Desafíos de Software)
Connects Argentine software firms with public science groups to solve applied challenges in health, energy, bioeconomy, and satellite technology.
Soluciones Innovadoras is Fundación Sadosky's flagship competitive call, co-administered with the Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación. It pairs Argentine software and IT services companies with research groups from Argentina's national science system (SNCyT) on applied R&D challenges. The company contributes a development team of at least three people; Sadosky funds three researchers plus one coordinator — part-time, for 12 months — giving the company access to scientific expertise rather than cash. Strategic sectors covered include health, satellite industry, bioeconomy, energy transition, and software/IT services productivity. The program launched in 2022 and ran a 2023 cycle; as of May 2026 no public 2026 cycle has been declared. Argentina's science budget was cut approximately 30% (2024), 23% (2025), and 7% (2026) in real terms under the Milei administration, and the Research and Innovation Promotion Program was cut 83%. The 2026 cycle status is unconfirmed — program is encoded as 'between_cycles' pending public announcement. Submissions go to avt@fundacionsadosky.org.ar.
