Grant for Establishing a Prospecting Office Outside the EEA (Subsidie voor Oprichting van een Prospectiekantoor Buiten EER)

Supports subsidy for Flemish companies establishing a foreign prospecting office outside the EEA.

Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT)BelgiumGrant

Subsidie voor Oprichting van een Prospectiekantoor Buiten EER helps Flemish SMEs, larger enterprises, business organizations, and chambers of commerce establish a prospecting office outside the European Economic Area. FIT uses it for companies that need a permanent commercial foothold in a target market, not just a short visit. The program covers 50% of eligible costs up to EUR 50,000, or 75% up to EUR 75,000 for first-time or infrequent applicants. Eligible spend is capped at EUR 100,000 before VAT and can include rent, utilities, furniture, legal and accounting support, plus forfait travel and accommodation for one prospecting visit and one management inspection. Applications are rolling through MyFIT and must be submitted at least seven days before operations begin. FIT aims to decide within 60 days, the office must be established within nine months of approval, and a report is due six months after the first operational year. The route is strongest for firms that can commit to a real market presence and have not received an office subsidy in the same country in the past five years.

Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
