Starter Package for Internationalization (Starterspakket Internationalisering)
Supports one time flat rate grant for Flemish innovative small businesses launching export activities for the first time.
Starterspakket Internationalisering is FIT's entry-level export grant for innovative Flemish SMEs that have never previously received a FIT subsidy. It is designed to cover the first costs of launching export activity and sits under Flanders Investment & Trade, the Flemish regional agency that handles export promotion and international business support. The award is a flat EUR 9,000 paid once. FIT opens the program in limited bi-annual windows, caps each call at 100 applications and 50 approvals, and pays approved awards within 60 days. The May 2026 call filled on opening day, and the next window was set for the end of September 2026. This route is only for first-time FIT applicants and excludes companies that have ever received a prior FIT subsidy. The record also flags agriculture, financial services, and real estate as excluded sectors. Successful applicants are the ones ready to prove that a small, early export push is the right use of a one-off starter grant.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
