Eureka Multilateral Calls (SPW Walloon Share)
Administers the Walloon share of Eureka calls, enabling international collaborative projects and industrial partnerships via SPW Recherche.
SPW Recherche is the Walloon contact agency for the Eureka intergovernmental R&D network (~50 member countries). It funds the Walloon partner's share of approved Eureka multilateral thematic calls, with industrial-research rates of 60–80% and experimental-development rates of 40–60% depending on company size. Consortia must span at least 2 Eureka member countries with no single country exceeding 70% of total budget. Each Eureka thematic call (e.g., Lightweighting, Manunet manufacturing) is a discrete grant cycle with its own deadline. The 2026 Lightweighting call is currently open (2026-05-06 to 2026-10-08). Submission requires parallel filing on the Eureka international platform AND on SPW Recherche's ONTIME portal in French, under penalty of ineligibility.
